Using Contamination Indices for Assessments of Heavy Metals Status of Soils around Mercury Mine, in Kurşunlu, (Konya) Province

چکیده

The objective of this study was to establish contamination level for, Pb, Zn, Cu, Ni, Cr, As, Hg, Sb, Co, and Cd in soils around the old Hg mine area central part Turkey. 34surface samples from were collected. Samples digested metals determined by ICP-OES assess metal using Enrichment factor (EF), (Cf), Geoaccumulation index (Igeo), hazard quotient (HQ) (individual metal), (Cd), modified (mCd), pollution load (PLI), (HLI) (multi metal). (HQ)indicate that soil most studied points unpolluted, slightly polluted or moderate degree with respect Cd, Co while all stations extremely contaminated Sb As. When obtained result evaluated cumulative effect (Cd) Contamination Degree found be very high pollution, ultra-high medium respectively indicating total heavy metals.
